I had to continue to work with a paycut, and live being surrounded by idiots and people just blindly listening to all the stupid shite on the news.
It was a horrible time. I don't really blame anyone for being scared of the virus or the government. I just expected far more resistance from the populace.
Thankfully, my employer never officially mandated vaccines. I told ,myself I would walk if they did. Not sure if I really would have, but I'm so thankful that decision was never forced on me..

Never forget the celebrities releasing the video on them singing Imagine. Like they were so miserable being locked down in their luxurious mansions.
Also the hospital that threatened to kick me out while my mom was on her deathbed. Wouldn’t let 5 of us stay in the room to be together as a family for the last time. Acting like I was murdering people by just switching out being in the room with my brother and sister in law since it could only be 2 at a time in the room at once.

Shut up bitch
Nobody did anything
Everyone shrugged their shoulders, put on a mask, and said “okay sir if you insist”
Until some threat actually threatens the masses’ ability to eat McDonalds, watch TV, and have air conditioning … no true movement will ever mobilize.

Not one sane human being on here would disagree with any of this. It was all 100% a clown show..

It was all dumb. Everybody panicked, took their brains out and did as they were told.

This place was full of people ridiculing people who were retaining some common sense.
It didn't take much to see that it was being blown out of proportion

You can thank the overreach of the CDC and FDA.

Wish I had time or interest to read this thread. I am sure the world's greatest medical minds shared a lot of wisdom.

I don’t have to thank anyone. We rushed a vaccine so said vaccines weren’t perfect. Why let that affect your feelings about vaccines that were done properly and help society overcome many illnesses? And yes autism is raising because we are better at detecting it. I actually think the same % have it throughout t society but now we are better at diagnosis of it

I watched with my own eyes 3 cops put two snowbirds in there 70's in cuffs and make them get off the beach. If shite ever does really hit the fan the police are not your frickin friends.

Logical fallacy of appeal to authority is strong with you. Congrats.

Y'all stupid mofos fell for that shite. All my life I've heard you can't vaccinate against a virus, because it mutates. Those rinky dink mask weren't stopping a MICROSCOPIC virus.

What? It exposed the morons and illuminated the true pimps of society.

I always think of this one white lady at Costco that was absolutely frantic and pointing at me like I was a pod person because IDNGAF about her very specific mask protocol and was unwilling to take instructions . She literally fell apart. I always saw the whole thing as just a highly feminized mass psychosis caused by anxiety and fear of death . And I kept thinking about the men at D Day and Iwo Jima and what they would make of the sick moral component that people applied to it, like modern day witch burning true believers. The worst of humanity generally acted very poorly , way past normal precautions and they became militant and self righteous and oppressive.
