I thought my GSP was fast. Those dogs were moving!

Notice the border collie mix—he breaks away from the pack and takes an early start

I know that look… That’s a hyper little shitstorm right there.

Looks like it’s filmed out around Lauderdale/Roanoke.

You got a fast dog.
I got a plan to get us out of here.
I been working at the kennel store.
Managed to save just a little bit of money.

There is no bigger disparity in nature than how fast my beagle thinks he is and how fast he actually is.
That may be true but they don't give up.
Years ago during my test range days. A gentleman came by our range on a Monday and told us one of his beagles had locked on to a deer during the weekend and if we to see him to call him and/or grab the dog. The man had brought his dogs out near our test ranges to let them run. Sometime during middle of the week we were setting up to fire missiles and we saw a deer in the daysight monitor cross our centerline about 1.5km down range, which was not unusual. About 10 minutes later that beagle crossed at the same spot, his tongue was hanging out of his mouth about a foot but he was not stopping.

From what I have read, Greyhounds can make great pets. Supposedly they can become couch potatoes if you let them.
Though, if it runs off you ain't catching it.

Absolutely. When Arnie was about 1 yr old he jumped a deer right outside of the truck. He chased that thing for 3 hours. I'm not sure the deer ever felt threatened
But Arnie was giving it a go.

Love the doggy at the very end... just kinda stopped like, "Wait- I lost, didn't I?"
"Holy frick. We're not doing it again, are we?"
Also IIRC, Greyhounds need like large stretches of land to just go fricking run on the daily.

I had a male catahoula that was just about as fast.
Only problem is when they stopped running was that he would have proceeded to kill all the other dogs there. He just slayed
The only fight he ever lost was to an 1980s squarebody GMC stepside.

The best thing about the OP video is that all the dogs knew the greyhound was going to win and they ran anyway.
The lab was the only one salty at the end.

Surprised that the Border Collie wasn't faster than that.

What a great workout for those guys. Not an ounce of fat on any of them.
It’s crazy that people have dogs that they never take outside and let them run or go for long walks.
I have a 12 pound Shih Tzu and everyone said when we got him, they are lazy as hell and will never leave your lap. We’re a very active family and we go on three long walks a day. He does 3 to 4 miles a day and would go longer if I let him.

I have a jack russell mix and she does two things. Runs and sleeps. She is 12 years old, but I open up the back door in the morning and she takes off and she is chasing squirrels, looking for anything... She is fast as shite even at 12 years old. She could definitely smoke the dalmatian.

Once upon a time I had a whippet. That boy could fly. The only frisbee that worked for him was an Aroebe, because the other frisbees flew too slow.
