Surge is actually still available. You can buy it on amazon. It’s delicious.

The whole "No Fear" brand was intended to be the opposite of emo. I wasn't a fan, though.

I had a fireball yo-yo, and drank Surge, but I definitely wasn't a cool kid.

I’m confused where the Vans come into play because the shoes in the picture are clearly Airwalks.

I was in the crowd drinking these

Wearing these

And kicking the crap out of people wearing what you wore.

Lace up your airwalks and meet me at sonic and we’ll see if I still got it.

I'm glad I was only 7 in '96, because if that's what it took to be the "cool kid", frick that shite.

But I had mad tricks with a yo-yo...yo.

Anyone wearing jnco jeans was suspect to suck a dick for meth. I never see anyone wearing them that had a future.

Apparently, Jansport back packs have been a “cool” item since the 80s, cause we had them in HS. That’s what the cool kids toted their books in for class.

Any of y’all used to go to the yo-yo shop and the competitions at the Broadmore flea market?
