Katrina was God’s gift to purge NOLA and the chocolate city mayor blew it. His punishment for blowing it was going to prison.

Nola was a different city in the 80s and before. It was one of the best cities in the South back then.
Shitty Louisiana politics and crime. I'd still live there over anywhere in Mississippi or Alabama though.
