Don't complain, they'll get a few million bucks of tax payers money just to clean it up some.

Who thinks the university should be in the SEC? Or did you make that up?

I agree it’s terrible. And i like the Cajuns.

I went to a game last week, kids night..my little ones were pumped. We get there = no cotton candy man. How?? It’s KIDS NIGHT which YOU PROMOTED.

Tickets through Ticketmaster were $73 for 4 people. Window was $40, fine.

Popcorn sold out at halftime AND no candy. On KIDS NIGHT.

The people who run the place are the problem. I’d love to get into UL athletics but it’s honestly a joke. Too expensive and shite service.

And honestly, the product isn’t work all that trouble and money at this point.

Ever been to Houma or Lake Chuck? I’d say the Cajundome’s condition is a fair representation of the area

I take it you haven’t been to a home game at McNeese recently….

Went UNO lakefront arena about a year ago. Still looked like 1986 in there.

I went there recently and found an old Midsouth Wrestling program where JYD and Bob Roop were having a “Loser Leaves Town” match.

I was working in Lakefront Arena in 2004, went upstairs into a storage closet and found boxes with "Leaping" Lanny Poffo frisbees. Had to be over 200 of them.

It underwent a renovation in 2016.

It's still better than the PMAC, RiverCenter, Lakefront, and especially Burton or the LC Civic Center (that new McNeese arena is basically an oversized gym).

It definitely needs to overhaul the janitorial staff though.

the legislators have been trying to merge it with SUNO for years, but they can’t so they have it to the UL system

Engineering school is pretty good, though

UNO was always the red headed step child of the LSU system

That is really sad. UNO was a very good "commuter school." I know a lot of people who went to UNO because they had few other options financially or due to family circumstances and ended up making great lives for themselves.

TOPs enabled a lot of New Orleanians to attend LSU, ULL, Tech, and Southeastern. It's a more traditional campus experience and that appeals

The insecure segment of LSU fans that feel the need to punch down at instate schools like ULL is pathetic.

Majority of what you mentioned above applies to tiger stadium as well. I’ve been to Kyle field and Bryant Denny, they both blow TS out of the water when it comes to what you listed above.

Watch ya mouth baw! I went to my first concert in that building in 1986. Slick Rick & Doug E Fresh, and UTFO performed "Roxanne Roxanne."

I think you being a bit harsh. Cajundome is decent venue for events. But it’s way too big for ULL basketball. Even if you have decent crowd, it would still look small in that place.
I’m biased but the TAC @ Tech is one of the best places to watch a basketball game…because it’s just for basketball.
