The only kind of tie I have worn for about the past 25 years is a bow tie. At one point I would not wear one while I was trying a jury case. Then I decided, who cares what people think about a bow tie? Based on the trials I have won, not many jurors.
Perhaps the question should be, "The Bow Tie: What does it say about guys who care what other guys wear?"

I'm not surprised much on this board anymore, but I'm honestly surpised and the visceral response by some towards bow ties.... not every guy can pull them off but for guys that know how to wear them and confident doing so, it's no big deal... I promise you it isn't a 'try hard' or 'gay' thing

Bow ties have their place like others have said previously. I do think it's a limited wear piece. But the baws with these gay!! responses are probably rednecks who don't own even one suit
