The biology that is HIV/AIDS is over my head

Just from an outsider looking in. Only knew one man that died from this “epidemic”. Can someone in the medical field enlighten us common folk on wtf is going on. From advertisement it appears it can detected and controlled now. Is the technology so advanced now? Or is there more awareness of the infected. Please those in the medical field chime in.

It's very hard to get.
Example raw dogging HIV positive chick vaginal 1 in 2000 you get it.
Anal receptive however is 1 in 100. So gays most likely get it in US.
Can currently be controlled via HAART treatments. Which attack disease through several fronts.
Still no picnic. And as many drugs are nephrotoxic will destroy kidneys eventually.
Still a serious condition but is somewhat manageable.

There’s no vaccines or cure. Sorry about your recent infection. You can prolong getting aids for a while but it’s expensive and you will need help. Good luck.

HIV did not pass from monkeys to humans by sex you perverts.
HIV made the species jump from chimp to human when a human was butchering chimps in the Congo. The species jump has been narrowed down to a small area and an approximate time, I can’t remember the date.

AIDS is a gay man's disease. that's not politically correct and doesn't fit the current pop culture narrative preaching otherwise, but it's the truth.
of course maybe 3% get it from syringes and another 3% get it from heterosexual activity, but well over 90% of AIDS patients got it from gay sex.

That's in the US and Western Europe. In eastern Europe and Asia it's primarily a disease of IV drug addicts. In Africa heterosexual transmission is more prevalent than elsewhere, possibly due to the presence of genital sores.

People are going to argue and try to give bullshite scientific explanations..but one or some of the guys in africa he was smearing with, were fricking monkeys.

I know they have had to do lots of HIV education in remote villages in many African countries. Some men believed superstitions they were told that having sex with a virgin would cure them. So then you would have young girls being raped and then infected with HIV.
