I thought I saw there was a recent study claiming that asymptomatic people likely aren't contagious.

Also with the sanitizer/ surface scare, then the turnabout of well, you can't get it from ingestion/ doesn't survive long on surfaces

AKA We know we look like idiots with the mask thing, burning buildings, kneeling for the anthem, so, don’t make us look any more stupid by continuing to bring it up. Just sit there and take what we give you and comply.

Same for me, and damned if my throat doesn't start itching every freaking time I put it on. I've had to carry cough drops in my pocket daily.

Just gotta get a few more polling locations closed in strategic locations and it might be possible.

A lot of those are pretty reasonable and self explanatory fwiw.

Its too many points but diretly address each - but 2, 3, 7, 9, 10, 11 at least are answered by common sense on how a respiratory disease can be guarded against spread as well as the simple idea that the gov't officials are incompetent and full of shite and don't want to admit that fact.

All that said, wearing a mask makes common sense as a guard against the spread of the infection.

The Biggest Issues with the Mask “Mandate”

For me the issue has nothing to do with freedom--that's a red herring.

I'm more troubled by the way this validates the Germophobic Worldview. Once this is all "over," seeing some people in masks & ubiquitous hand sanitizer will be part of the new normal.

You're right to some degree. I think if they just stopped talking about Covid from government to the media...all of this would fade into the sunset. I have kept my space from people as best I can, made extra effort to not touch my face or foods (at home and in the store) with dirty hands, and wash my hands regularly (always have). Besides that little bit of extra effort, I rarely ever got sick prior and I still don't even know a single person (even via friend of a friend type of way) that has had Covid. I think at this point, if they would just drop it, everything would get back to normal within months and we would not see any excessive hospitalizations, etc.

The old phrase, "We're from the government, we're here to help," stands true.

Everyone knows it's been a frick job at this point. It's like they're pretending to be serious as long as everyone keeps taking this seriously. Just draw the line already, throw in the fricking towel, and move on.

So what? Every time I see someone with a mask each Winter I'll think, "One less person giving me the flu."

lol, You serious Clark? It's like a very talentless middle school football team (dems/libs) lining up to play in the super bowl. I'm not saying that Trump and the republicans are super bowl quality, but it's not even close. You literally don't even have a team or a QB. Biden? wtf lmao

At this point I'm convinced that you know it's already game over and that you libs just don't have the mental capacity to face defeat. Just stop already.

I was worried in February about the shutdowns because of the prisoners dilemma it would cause across states and municipalities and the positive feedback loop between the government and the media. Here we are 5 months later.

Shreveport mayor just passed one, his big issue is has said it will be SPD enforcing it. This comes after he cut 6.4 million from the police budget after bending the knee. I've heard that many on the SPD are considering walking off totally and have for sure said frick enforcing your petty mask mandate.
