Madison County, AL just passed their mandate and it started at 5pm yesterday. Local news outlets interviewed a rep from local police. He stated without stating that though they can fine you for not wearing a mask, they don't intend to. They also said that they could arrest you for not wearing a mask, but they aren't going to.

The kicker? They said it was up to the business owners to enforce the mask mandate, and the business owners could be fined for not enforcing it.

So, the county put a mandate in place. The police say they aren't going to enforce it. But the business owners are expected to enforce it.

So, business owners are expected to enforce law in Madison County, Alabama.
