And the big fight scene is getting close.









There was a wild colonial boy, Jack Duggan was his name
He was born and raised in Ireland in a place called Castlemaine
He was his father's only son, his mother's pride and joy
And dearly did his parents love the wild colonial boy

Used to watch that movie as a kid with my grandpa. Miss those days like crazy...

They showed this at the movie theater today. It didn't sound too interesting, so I skipped it.

You missed out.

I saw it in the theater last year. It’s awesom on the big screen. Ireland just jumps out right at you.

It wasn't until the 6th or seventh time I watched it that I "got" that scene.


It's my second favorite John Wayne movie after She Wore a Yellow Ribbon.

Brigadoon is another great movie set in Ireland.


ETA Whoops, Brigadoon is set in Scotland. Still a good one.
