Here in Trinidad a lot of the public buildings that are a few stories tall have the staircases "open air" next to the elevators, not some staircase "esthetically" hidden down the end of a hallway.

I rarely meet fat people on the steps

My neighborhood is also not "suburban zoned". I walk to the local grocer, farmers market, gym, local govt complex for mail, taxes, election enrollment, courts, etc. The local hardware.....about six or seven bars, couple restaurants, etc.

Its just more convenient to walk than to get in the car and drive like I had to do in a gated community in the states.

Please turn this into an OT, BMI conversation! The OT has the highest percentage of NFL caliber athletes based off past BMI discussions.

You have the white guys on here who still pretend to like rap who think those averages are built like a 12 year old boy. They would want that 170lber to eat some sammiches.

OT will tell me fat women have tighter vaginas.

Have fun digging through the fat rolls to find it though.

Fat women are disgusting.

My wife was telling me about this yesterday.

She is 64, 5' 7", and 125lbs. She looks great. I'm a lucky man.

A good weight for a male is roughly 105 + 6 lbs for every inch over 5 feet tall.

You would have to not lift any heavy weights at all to maintain this.

What I’ve noticed is how young girls are blowing up. It use to be after three kids and menopause, now it’s right out of the gate.

Have you ever observed young women eating?

They eat a whole lot of junk.

And I'm not picking on the women. Their male peers do to. But men have an easier time burning it off.

The fact that the meat they eat was raised using growth hormones, and everything is sweetened with high fructose corn syrup, doesn't help either.

That actually seems low to me.

My observation at those kinds of events is closer to 50% are obese.

Almost always better to look at the the median (50th percentile) for population data sets. The 50th percentile is 161 lbs based on that data.

So a little better but not much. Pick a random woman and there is a 50/50 chance that she will be 161 or more.

I realize that. While I do stay in shape, I will also not deny myself great food of a reasonable amount. When I was younger, that scoop of Screamery dark chocolate ice cream I enjoyed yesterday would have meant nothing. At this age, it does. Same with the crepes I had last weekend.

I will forego the abs at this age to enjoy life's little pleasures. We only live once. What is the point if we do not enjoy it?

That's the size of Neville's starting linebackers around 2005.

I remember going to some wine festival a few years ago and I swear 50% of the women were fat fricks. It was insane

Just go outside. Look at the car next to you. They’re probably eating chips or an ice cream with a huge fat arm on the armrest.

I’m sick and tired of looking fat people. They’re gross. It’s 90% diet and discipline. The other 10% is the opposite sex allowing it.

Yeah, 40% plus of American adults are obese. That 1 in 3 (roughly 30%) are for those who are merely overweight and not obese. We're rapidly closing in on 3/4 of America adults are 'overweight', with over half that number clinically obese.

The most alarming stat for me is 20% of schoolchildren are obese.

HOLY MOTHER OF GOD

I'm glad I'm out of the dating pool because back in the day I'd smash a fat chick, but I doubt I ever crossed the 170 lb range.
