Nice job! I'm glad y'all are giving back to the community and having fun while you do it. Disregard the "cool kids" who ridicule the Stompers. Keep up the good work.

Love the stompers and kudos for the money y'all raise for good causes. Don't mind the OT. Many of them feel their manhood threatened over any little thing when the manhood never really existed. Lots of insecurity.

I'm a bit tired of seeing them and I have friends in the krewe. Things like the Macy's parade are great because it doesn't bother me. I don't mind them in MG parades either, but I don't care to see them at other events. I don't want to have and sit through a 610 routine if I'm standing out at Wed at the square waiting on a band to play.

I can't stand those dudes. They are like the NOLA equivalent to Aggie fans

are you considered "Hyper-Nola/Yat" if you have a Nolaversary? Meaning the day you moved to New Orleans.....I've actually seen people do this...

Video link?
Don't know anything about them. The name sounds kind of gay. Not sure what they do though.

I have no idea what you are talking about, which is a good thing in my mind

She's a split? What's that? Like a split-tail?

I'm offended you would say this, I remember the first time I came down to nawlins I knew I had to move here. the culture and the people are so much better than jersey

Most of us are locals, Macy's reached out to us in 2011 and are very excited to have us back. We raise over $100k per year for local charities, and have a blast doing so.
please confirm that your costumes were inspired by a will ferrell character.

Is that those black guys that break dance by Jackson square?

I still chuckle every time I see them at a parade, mainly because fat white guys trying to dance will always be funny.
When they first started marching it was funny because you could tell it was a parody of those middle-aged, all women dance crews like the Gold Dusters and the guys didn't take themselves seriously. Add in a Saints Super Bowl run and Buddy D dress parade and it became one of those perfect "only in New Orleans" things.
Now it seems like there starting to get a little too in to it. Mardi Gras, Saints games, Pelicans games, commercials, billboards, performances at every festival, Stomper's Ball, pub crawls...the initial charm is starting to wear off. But I guess people are paying them for it and it's going to charity, so there's no real reason to complain.

Doesn't matter. You make a few people uncomfortable at the Square. Y'all should hang up the coaching shorts. It was a good run.

bingo. fat old white guys dancing is amusing. the first time, the second time, the 5th time.... but when its the 203rd time without any new twists, it gets a little stale. but whatever, they are having fun and doing it for a good cause - im not going to complain about that and i can deal with the 45 seconds of "meh" when they perform near me.

What is this advertizing that you speak of? I've seen a few billboards and things at bus stops where thy were promoting pedestrian safety. I'm sure they were asked to do this by public safety officials.
Other than that, I bet the few other ads were just to promote one of their charity events.

Keep doing what y'all are doing. My family and I think y'all are great. A quirky NOLA dance troupe that has a little fun and raises money for charity...I don't see how anyone could bag on that, but whatever.
