Surprised attorney isn't on the list. We need more lawyers!

The shortage of qualified drivers is pretty frightening considering the only solution they have is to drop the requirements for attaining a CDL.

Those sales positions are a bit misleading.

They aren’t ‘in-demand’ but instead there’s a shitload of postings on Monster because they’re filling these positions with someone who will willingly hammer out 100 cold calls a day and get “frick you’d” all day long. Then the salesperson burns out and they hire the next coke head to hammer out 100 more for a few weeks.

It’s a vicious cycle.

shite, with Amazon taking over everything, i'm thinking about becoming a fricking barber/hair stylist person...

you can't order a haircut on Amazon and have it delivered, and unlike other luxury customer services (nails, spa, etc.), even in times of recession, you still gotta keep with your appearance and get your hair cut...

There are plenty of sales positions that do not fit your blanket assumptions

Untrue.

All of them have an element of “prospecting” which means, “hammer out some fricking cold calls bro”

Unless you’re inside sales, which isn’t really sales just customer service

I can respect the job. I did outside sales for 3 years. Made very good $$$ but I got burned out.

What are your 8?

I see 3 that all pay close to 6 figures.

You've obviously not been people watching or seen much live TV with large crowds recently.

It's obvious personal grooming and specifically combs/brushes are a dying sales category. Not just declining, dying!
