Much respect to Jake Mangum and the young man who was wearing his jersey and understands what kindness is all about

Longer clip shows that the brother was wearing a Skenes jersey and the sister was wearing the Mangum jersey.

Dammit

I do love baseball and its culture. I prefer it to other major league sports

Last post. Mangum explains in the locker room afterwards how it all unfolded.

That was nothing. This is what Jake did earlier in the week.

Jake Mangum
I was sitting behind MSU’s dugout at a non-SEC game his senior year versus Ole Miss. Between innings he came out to warm up and was right by my seat at the fence line. I told him that it has been a pleasure to watch him play but as a fan of another team I was happy he was running out of eligibility. He laughed and said “Thanks, I get that a lot.”

Helluva college player.

Yes. He then went on to play CB for the Chicago Bears.

Great story all around including with the player later. Thanks for posting. I hadn’t seen this before.
