re: LSU Ranked last in SEC - Tuition

The value of a Florida degree is amazing. You get a top 5 education for only $25,000 in-state. Shoot, some people are paying that for private HS in Louisiana.

Pickett should have had the number 5 last year. This really comes down to LSU not living up to its promises. Lane is doing his best to make it right.

I'm not a fan of the blue helmets that many times, but really, it doesn't matter if they win games.

With a 9-game conference schedule and the highest ratings ever in the 1st year of the ABC deal, the next media contract will be massive.
Florida checks in as the best state in SEC Country. Go Gators!!!

Yes, but newcomers Texas and Oklahoma are pretty close outside the big 3 sports.
And I got to witness Billy Napier beating LSU the year before.
Ole Miss got a favorable non-pass-interference call at the end of the game last year, and it could have been 0-4.
That is a strategy for LSU, but it doesn't help depth, and it takes depth to win in the SEC. We will also see how that strategy works with team culture. It will be fun to watch, regardless.

Who knew South Carolina and LSU would be so bad? To your point, their SOS is 38th.
re: At this point florida should have held out with napier one more year

Florida 79% has a high percentage of returning production from last season. And that's with the loss of their starting QB in Lagway, One might argue that that's not too much of a loss with how Lagway played last year. Case in point, the 5 int vs LSU. Sumrall did a good job of keeping the core guys with Graham, VB3, Wilson, and Baugh. If the lines come together and that's a big if, they shuld be 8-4 this year and the playoffs next year.
College athletics doesn't get government funding. If he wants to be petty and pull research dollars, I guess he could do that, but that would give China an advantage in advancements.
Wait what? Florida won the Natty in basketball last year. The SEC also had almost half the field with 5 in the College Football playoff.
This Florida lineup stacks up against pretty much any of them.

re: Name any instance ever in CF where a head coach willingly leaves for a worse job/program

I think you're right because Less Miles ended up at Kansas and got fired for the his LSU transgressions, Coach O is begging for any job opening without anyone hiring him, and I don't see Kelly coaching again. Kiffin might be back at FIU in 3 years.
Are you trying to make me break down Tua, Hurts, and Jones to see who is better right now?

Stricklin and the SEC gave Napier the toughest schedule in the nation every year, but the up-and-coming doesn't look as tough. Even with the tough schedule, you need to be over 500 at Florida. If the incoming coach can keep the offensive weapons, watch out.
re: Florida will be a tough challenge for the Aggies

One thing I do know is that A&M isn't going to run for 300 yards on the Gators this year. Lagway didn't look good on the road vs LSU and Miami, though. This should be close, but I see the Aggies pulling away late.
Stop acting like you have a tougher schedule than everyone else in the SEC.
Florida just played #3 LSU, #4 Miami, and #9 Texas, all of which came off a cupcake game. Now they're going on the road to #5 Texas A&M. Miami and Texas A&M are still undefeated.

Honestly, I think if they played Jones at QB with Lagway being injured, they beat USF and possibly LSU. If you can't practice, you shouldn't start.
