And to add to the saga, Sharon Pennington, married to Claude, lives in Bocage but came from nothing.
Nobody talks about it.
What is the saga and why should we talk about it or why does this need to be swept under the rug?
I used to drink with her and Claude at Fairway View Club decades ago. And fwiw I know a lot of people who apparently “came from nothing” and have done well for themselves including marrrying up.
Sounds like sky fell for skyisfalln and apparently great things didn’t come your way.

I always wondered how he afforded to do that radio show with the same 7 people who call in everyday.

And they hire recently graduated dentists with large student loan debt and pay them shite.
Who’s forcing them to work there?

Money made in Oil. the biomedical research center was funded by their donations and they never made a penny from it. It is part of the LSU system and needs constant funding and grants to stay operational/

Houses that size/price sit on the market when they change hands.
I honestly have no use for a house that size, and I don't want a home where I have to have a staff to maintain it. I would rather have a really awesome, normal sized house in several different places than a massive compound like that.

Here's a hint. It's in Baton Rouge Louisiana

Me too, man. That’s why I just settled in a 3/2 DSLD in Holden.

You may be thinking of another husband and wife dentist couple, Robert and Krista Bruns. Their young son died by drowning in a pond on their property.
Did they live in Hickory Ridge? If so, I remember when it happened. Kid drowned and dad rented a backhoe and dug up the pool and sold the house cheap.
