I don't think there will be any in my household, but I can just imagine how shite is going to particularly hit the fan this year due to the election. Between the Social Justice Warriors coming home from college and drunk uncles, sparks are for sure going to fly in thousands of homes tomorrow around the country.

So do any of y'all expect something like this to happen tomorrow?

We don't talk about politics. Some people seem to thrive on shite stirring with their families. Surely there are other things to discuss.

My whole family was on the Trump train so we probably won't even talk about it.

If someone lets the election ruin their relationship with family members, that person needs to just off themself.

They are a waste of oxygen.

Finally!!! I've been waiting for someone to break this silence because I haven't heard anything about race in awhile.

Holy shite, if people follow these guidelines in mass numbers, there are going to be some wonderful YouTube videos on Friday.

I know a few folks that are anxious for some extended family members to show up. MAGA hats and certain news articles have been strategically placed around the house

I put trigger warnings on my front door, so I'm not worried.

my LA family basically split up the big family day for like 3 separate little ones...so major drama turns into 3 very peaceful events

now we did invite my (crazy, but been on good behavior lately) dad to our lil thing. sparks are always a threat but i am running the show this year so i think i'll stop that shite before it gets to any sort of level above background noise

My grandpa is 76, listens to Rush everyday and says whatever comes to mind. Should make for an interesting lunch with my liberal siblings.

My mom passed away a couple of months ago as a result of the flood, my dad has been very sick since the flood and my family has faced other issues recently. I'll be eating and watching football with family and friends tomorrow in hopes of a reprieve from all the crap. Anyone who comes to my house and starts any kind of crap will be asked to leave. I have bigger issues than someone having hurt feelings over an election.

Even the liberals in my family (well, those who will be present at our thanksgiving) dislike HRC and establishment politics enough that I doubt there will be any sparks.

Not politically triggered at my house but usually my sister has a little to drink and go into her "pity me" routine which I eventually have to ridicule her about and that usually ends up with an argument.
