This is not going to be fun
Maybe not for you

If I had a quarter for every time I've heard this around the holidays....well, I'd have a whole quarter.

Being that she is under age, I truly hope she doesn't end up in that one guy's random Twitter or Instagram hashtag thread deals. That one could result in some knuckle checking and a few charges.

Same...most annoying thing that will happen..and I can bank on this:
We eating at 1:30...by 1:35 my nephew will have taken his 2 bites of food and be over it....he'll start relentlessly asking everyone at the table that's not his parents to go outside, play a game, take him four wheeler riding nevermind they're still eating. His parents will act like he isn't even there. At 1:40 when he still isn't getting what he wants he'll start hitting people in the back, plopping in people's laps and poking them in the face to get them to do what he wants....after 5 minutes of this his mom will tell him once to calm down. Since there isn't a consequence in the world it'll ramp up in another 2 minutes...so on and so forth
If you have a young nephew begging you to take him on a four wheeler ride, it is your duty as an uncle to race him immediately to the four wheeler.
Work on manners later if the parents completely drop the ball, but if he’s under ten, the answer is always “yes, let’s go” unless grandma pulls rank and vetos it.

Sus- we are obviously related because that is exactly how my family works. Right down to grandma with veto power

I do...I take him riding, I take him fishing (which his dad refuses to do), he stays at our house, I shoot fireworks with him, play ball etc. I do all the fun shite his parents clearly don't, but dammit boy needs to learn there's a time and place. I'm always down to do whatever, but he can't live his life being an a-hole and interrupting people. I didn't grow up doing that, neither did anyone I knew...and if I can help it, he wont

I just moved into a duplex and my next door neighbor's (30 year old) daughter (no pics, OT 1.2) was visiting and came to say hi to me. I went outside to talk to her for a bit. I had a glass of scotch and she asked to try it. She ended up coming inside and getting drunk and we fricked and now I hear her and her mom having an argument next door.
I wish I was making this up.
