The incoming mail is quarantined to the garage for three days before they open it.
When they shop for groceries it's during off peak hours & they spray everything that they buy.
I'll be honest, me and my wife were doing this for a short time. We would lysol all groceries, mail, and amazon packages. Avoided crowds at the grocery store to the best of our abilities, etc. We didn't visit family or anyone for a lil bit.
That went out the window in mid May. That is entirely way too much work. I don't know whether to admire or feel sorry for the folks them.

Early bump.
One of his kids, a 15 year old girl, has been posting Instagram pics of herself drinking beer in a bikini with older guys (flipping the bird) at the Chatahoochee river with the quote “Happy Thanksgiving Dad!”
This is not going to be fun. I normally love reading these threads but being the one giving the play by play is not as enjoyable.
I just want a normal turkey dinner.
You better link us up with that gram when she turns 18.

Have over 50 family members in town from across the country. We will enjoy thanksgiving just like any other year and no masks required.
That’s a lot of damn turkey. Y’all rent out a place or what?

While I’m sorry you have to deal with all of that, it has brought us great entertaining and for that I thank you. Also, your Dad sounds awesome.

We’ve been watching tractor and stump removal fails on YouTube as a family. Nothing unusual so far.

There were 12 people at our thanksgiving dinner. Someone literally got a call that they had tested positive for the rona as we were sitting down to eat. I can’t fathom why someone would feel ill enough to go get tested and then go to a thanksgiving gathering the very next day pending their test result but it was quite the conversation starter.

Got a submission...
At my in laws, my BIL took a call on speaker phone from his ex-wife’s mother while sitting on the couch. During the 20 minute call COVID comes up, he doesn’t care and she is very worried, and he mentions that they have been following government advice and is wearing his muzzle. His 9 year old son then pipes up, “Yeah we've been wearing our nose condoms!”

Ran into Coach O at a restaurant today. Nothing crazy. Gave him the wave and he said “Happy Thanksgiving and Geaux Tigahs.”
He was with his family and 30 year old girlfriend. Lovely people.
Missed my chance to plead for him to fire Bo

My tiny submission. Not worth much but it's funny to watch. Some teenage drama
At my wife's place, lot of folks came in town. Wife's lil cousin, can't be more than 19 years old, freshly graduated. She brings her new bf from college. Cousin's mom doesn't know or like the boy, and did not give permission for him to come. Daughter is in her rebellious stage, and simply gave the guy the address to come anyways.
Fast forward, normal Thanksgiving dinner. He has manners, so there wasn't any table drama. I sort of peeped the dude flirting with wife's other lil cousin, who is 15. In the guys defense, she is about 5'10, and 2 weeks away from 16. I would have no idea of her age if I didn't know her for years. From my eavesdropping while eating dressing, I could tell they exchanged social media information.
Out of no where, he says he has to leave. Less than 5 minutes later, 15 year old cousin leaves to go to friend's house.
I don't think anyone else suspect anything but I'm pretty convinced they left to meet. My wife is suspicious as well. My wife is like a big mentor to the 19 year old cousin so they talk alot.
I'm really intrigued to see where this story goes, personally. Was it just a big coincidence they left at the same time? Did they actually go to smash? Does the guy know her age. Does the guy end up getting arrested?
Nobody knows.

How did the 15 year old get to friends house?

Not much drama but I really did it to myself this year.
I did not eat anything before lunch which was eaten at 3:00. I ate like a pig and now 5 hours later I'm miserable. I don't want to eat for a week.
But the chocolate pie for dessert is still in the fridge and is about to be served.
I may explode.
