Except this wasn’t someone coming on here and soliciting.

This was a man down in that deep dark that many of Us have known. And whether he realized it or not he was reaching out in his moment of despair. And we heard his call.

He never asked for anything. I know how hard a hard candy Christmas is and wanted to do what I could to ease at least that burden and give those kids something special on Christmas morning.

And let me tell it wasn’t easy, because us stupid men let our stupid pride get in the way. We don’t want charity.
But this wasn’t charity, this was OT Christmas, and there’s still some goodwill out there.

I checked him out, I made sure he was legit, and if somehow it turns out not to be I will personally refund everyone’s money.

So you got an issue, take it up with me.

We've all made dumb decisions most every year. We gotta keep going because sometimes we make good decisions. Many people depend on us, sometimes people we do not know and have never met.

Everyone does this site differently. Not taking up for the guy maybe he did get one over on everyone here. But I’ll say that I am on this site every single day usually multiple times a day, just browsing when bored or have down time. Look at my post count and time since I signed up. Just Bc you don’t post every day, or 15-20 times a day doesn’t necessarily mean you aren’t here. Some people take pride in their post count it seems. I actually look at it the other way around and think it’s sort of sad. I have too much going on in real life to post as much as some here. But you do you and I’ll do me. To each his own there.
