They should have taken this evil man to court and had a judge sentence him the punishment of having to take care of this state protected animal until death, of either him or the squirrel. Also, once a week he would have to make a video proving he was not allowing the squirrel to suffer. Make him and the squirrel wear a cowboy hat or something.

My response was going to be based on the live span of a squirrel, but I just learned a squirrel can live up to 25 years in captivity.
I mean, there are a lot of other living things that's more of a threat to people, that can be killed, before a pet squirrel.

Man does not have the right to kill animals that get along with humans. That seems like government overreach at the least and satanic cruelty at most. A price should be paid by anyone that would execute an animal that befriended a human.

Y'all folks hung up on this happening in New York need to pace yourselves and spread out your anger a bit. If you're going to rail against the Democrats of NY you better be ready to take on the Republicans of TN, SC, NC, MS, LA, TX, KY, MO, AL, and likely every other state in the country. If you start searching for similar cases in other states you will find them.

Don't fool yourself into thinking you understand what I'm saying or that I think this was right. I think pretty much anyone should be able to own/keep whatever animal they want as long as said animal is controlled, cared for, and doesn't negatively impact others or a local ecosystem it should be no one else's business. The issue is not a New York issue, nor a R/D issue.

I went early vote and voted 3rd party, I wish they both could lose, but Kamala is going to win.
She just needs like 3 of 6 states to tip her way and more than likely at least 3 of those 6 will.
The electoral college really kind of sucks. Every state should be a swing state.
I mean, if I was president and I had to pick one of two states to help. One I know will vote for me no matter what and the other one, I have to do my job to gain their support, I sure as shite will not help the idiots who I know will vote for me no matter what.
