That's entrapment brother
No, no it's not.
If they sent the 14 year old girl out to coax the pervert actions, that's entrapment. He would be considered a target.
This guy turned on his computer and typed "hot young chicks", or whatever perverts type, into his Google browser. No one coerced him.
He intended to find a young girl. He made the first move.
quote:
Legally, entrapment occurs when law enforcement induces or pressures an otherwise unwilling person to commit a crime. Simply providing a "bait" or opportunity for someone to act on existing criminal intent—such as posing as a minor online—is considered a legal sting operation, not entrapment.
quote:
For an entrapment defense to succeed, a defendant must typically prove they were not "predisposed" to commit the crime. Prosecutors argue that by initiating sexual conversations or traveling to meet a minor, suspects demonstrate their own criminal intent independent of any police action.

If he was trying to hook up with a chick, it's not the same situation. I don't know about snoozeball, but with lacrosse we never see the coaches unless it's on the field when the team travels. They aren't holding private dinners for the team, I've never seen them in the hotel most of the team ends up staying at, etc. I honestly wouldn't have a problem with it.

This is pure fricking insanity. Why the hell would you hire a convicted child sex offender to coach children. Whoever hired him in this capacity should be fired immediately.

I'd guess he snuck in the other school, then was fired when they found out.

Like being sent waiver to have dinner with Hannibal Lecter.

When did we decide the best place for psychotic white women and sexual deviants was in schools around young children?

I'm all for redemption and forgiveness. But actions have consequences.
Go get a job in finance or something, I don't know. But working with kids is an automatic absolute no-go. If you truly love baseball and want to work in that field. See if you can get a job helping out with a local college's team or something.

quote:Sorry which party came up with minor attracted people?
you're being laughed at because you're blaming liberals for stuff like this guy in the OP. A white religious dude literally named Tommy Whiteman
quote:You're saying Muslims don't condone relations with extremely young women?
Muslims didn't do this.
quote:Texas is getting more liberal. You denying or not?
Imagine telling people "see guys, Texas is going to shite because of the muslims and liberals, they even made that former Astros player solicit a minor for sex"
Also you think they would have tried this shite 10 years ago?
