Stirring mass hysteria for nothing
Yes gas supply will slow but gasoline storage inventory is NOT OUT
There is many millions of barrels of gasoline still in storage that can be transported to retail

People love a good apocalyptic scenario and FB just feeds it.

This pales in comparison to the fake ice storms where everyone cleans out the shelves anticipating a couple of overpasses iced over.

Meh... I'm in Austin. Got gas this morning and people just yawning and getting coffee.

Ya, I noted in the other thread I had noticed much, but maybe hysteria is spreading. HEB near my location seemed a bit busier and the Boar's Head sandwiches were all gone!

Why don't all those SJW millenials plug their electric cars in?

Just saw someone say on FB that only 3 gas stations in Frisco have gas now and they won't get anymore for 4 days

I think one of the first times I was downtown a guy with a cowboy hat was riding a horse. I love to think everyone's first time here is just like that.

I've got 6 gas cans filled up at home, but I'm gonna fill up again this evening just to be safe.

Good thing my friends invested in gas early and are setting up to sell it. They're going to make a lot of money.

Texas Railroad Commission says there are no gas shortages in Texas, and there won't be any...bad rumors

It's so odd the the TRRC has so many functions other than railroads

Wouldn't necessarily mean there's a shortage in the sense of unavailability for days. Everyone who filled up today won't be filling up for a while and it should normalize rather quickly since supply isn't at issue.

You'd have to have a multi day panic with people hoarding more than just what their car can handle.

You'd think they would get a renaming but that would just cause massive confusion and cost at this point I guess.

That's just it. I've heard some retard co workers talking about filling up multiple gas cans...

I can go for about 2.5 weeks now so I am not to terribly worried anymore.

Dude, people in and around the areas where the storm did damage are on the edge right now and that is normal, but rumors flow rapidly after these events. People are already at a low point so when they hear these things, to some degree they panic.

There might be station who can't keep up with the demand at the moment and run out before they can get more supply, but other than that everything is good when it comes to gas. If you don't need gas right now you don't have to rush to hurry and fill up.. Everything will be okay at the end of the day.
