You can hunt with a firearm, especially large game. It's also ok to take a vehicle to work, enjoy indoor plumbing, etc. We advanced, it's ok to use the tools of today.
okay but when you pay to get point blank range from it, don’t call it hunting. I love deer and duck hunting. This isn’t hunting.

Without warning? So are buffalo giving heads up these days before protecting themselves? “Hey Mr Hunter-man, I’m gonna get up and start running right for ya. Be sure to get your gun loaded and in firing position!”

What is hunting then? Sitting in a box with a Mr. Buddy with your earbuds in until something comes to the pile of corn or ricebran?

So if somebody pays for that it’s no longer hunting… that’s what you’re saying?

Paying to be brought to the animal, to harvest it. Yes I’m saying that’s not hunting.

It's illegal there bro. Go to a WMA with no license and shoot something and let us know how it turns out

But also, the WMA is in Africa

And you don't speak the language

I don’t think the hunters would want anyone feeling sorry for them either tbh. If you’re paying that kind of money to stalk big animals in the African wilderness, I have to assume you’ve long since embraced the fact that you could end up dead.

I don’t relate to the vitriolic hatred for these guys but I’m not sorry for them either lol. Not everything demands an emotional reaction. It just is what it is.

You should checkout some of the nitro express safaris videos. Death at my feet is a decent one

You make it sound like they had it tied to a tree and brought him to it.

By your logic, every person who’s been assisted by a more experienced hunter wasn’t really hunting.

Yea, I thought this state was sportsman’s paradise. Bunch of damn pansies in here crying like lil girls.

Those animals they kill feed multiple families just like the animals I kill here in LA and MS.

As they used to say in the TV Westerns of the 1950s, “He died with his boots on.”

Didn’t realize we had so many anti-hunters here.

I would not call it anti-hunting. Hunters are people who go out and hunt an animal to feed themselves and their family. This has been a thing since the dawn of humanity and part of the circle of life.

People who get off killing animals, well that is a different story. Even if that buffalo is going to feed another family, he was doing for the rush of killing and not the kindness of helping other families. It is a fine line.

I get a wma permit when I go to hunt in one, and do the work myself to scout and find a good spot. Key phrase “do the work myself”.
If these guys paying to hunt in Africa can’t speak the language and can’t find the animals themselves, then that’s their deal. I still wouldn’t call it hunting, imo.
I’m just gonna die on this hill. Maybe I’m arguing semantics but call it taking, harvesting, whatever. I just don’t consider anything that’s not stalking your prey from start to finish, hunting.
I feel like I’m triggering the guided hunt folks, my bad

Better than your dentist husband using a safari as an excuse to shoot you.
