You can forgive people in the sense that you acknowledge that God forgives those who are truly repentant but still make sure that justice is served here on earth. Prisons are full of children of God who absolutely deserve to be there.

Not hiding anything. This dude isn’t part of my religion.

Besides, Jesus offers forgiveness for everything, so this "man of God" is already saved. The perpetual forgiveness card has been played.
Salvation isn’t permanent for the living. One can always decide to turn to, or away from God while alive.

Wut?
This piece of shite was a hypocrite to be sure (although I know absolutely nothing about him except what I’ve read in this thread—just assume he claimed to be regenerate). But what “religion” are you saying is hypocritical?
Eta: can you answer my question or are you just going to make a stupid comment and then downvote when you can’t support it?

I remember that. Whatever happened to Plauche’s son?

While I understand the outrage, this lady is 55 and it was her, when she was 12? So…43 years ago this happened?

Osage County OK.
I am not surprised about a plea deal. It is a 40 year old case. I wouldn't be surprised if there was no physical evidence at all. It also may have been the victim valued his allocution more than a longer prison sentence, especially given the odds of a guilty verdict in such an old case.

People like this are the real groomers.

Shoot him in the head. First post in this thread is the gold standard.

That’s where the two sides are different. I don’t care what the affiliation about politics, they all should be shot on sight.

Right now? He's probably posting in a thread about firing Brian Kelly

This same site praises the women who
Molest male students and immediately say “not guilty” if she’s hot. It’s where we have landed as a society. When we were 12 -16 we wish it would have happened, stating “where were these teachers when I was a kid, but when the man does it, we want to hang him.
He should be castrated and in prison til he dies, I’m just stating the contradictions of our society.

This part of the article stating stuff like below is just pathetic
The article could have criticized his sentence without quoting hypocrites making it political while ignoring their own filth.
This guy’s arrest had been discussed here on the OT before, but I can’t remember what kind of evidence the prosecution had outside of she said/he said from 40 years ago. If it didn’t have a lot of independent evidence I wonder if that played a part in the plea deal.
Not sure why he gets to come back to Texas and become Texas’s problem to supervise.
quote:progressives like the ones being quoted let illegals run free for sex crimes, push trans propaganda on little kids including to permanently damage kids by stopping their natural development, push kids to alphabet events with sexual crap all over the place, and want to push the same sexual crap onto kids in elementary and middle schools.
Why are these MAGA men always let off the hook for their disgusting crimes?"

Last year, Cindy Clemishire, 55, accused Morris of abusing her at the age of 12. She was present in the courtroom when Morris accepted responsibility.

I’m betting they had no real evidence of the assault so the plea deal was acceptable as they otherwise have nothing.

Well we have a solid red republican state protecting another pedophile while republican controlled congress goes all out to not release the Epstein files. Interesting pattern.
