As great as this sounds, they are showing up to the border in the thousands. These busses aren’t making a dent in the wave of illegal immigrants flooding Texas every day.

Wait for it.....

Texas is playing the long game here. The feds will soon close the border once the DC elites start living it themselves.

Most live in gated communities.

It sounds nice and all but in reality they're contributing to the problem.

They should be loading them onto planes and flying them back to where they came from.

I love the idea. The politicians now in charge want them in the country, then send the illegals to the scene of the crime.

Let D.C. deal with them on their streets and burdening their welfare system in place to help their citizens.

Who cares??? You think the limousine liberals of Chevy Chase and Georgetown want these voluntarily-relocated people hanging out near the gates of their mansions or breathing on their Land Rovers? Waiting near the gates of their $$$ private schools?

Exactly....so they are spending $$$ to do this, and sending illegal immigrants far far away from the border they are crossing, which instantly decreases the likelihood they ever get sent back home.

This is certainly a logistical issue worthy of more thought. Seats per bus will always be a limiting factor. Maybe they should explore other transportation options. Perhaps by train car? But then with no identification, how to serialize them..

Copy and paste from the media narrative? Not a single creative thought?

Who cares if all of the immigrants aren’t bussed to DC or Delaware. Let’s send a couple hundred and see how they like it. I’m fine with that. For the life of me i can’t see how you could possibly think the mass illegal immigration surge is a good thing…

Screw just buses,

Let's use C130's, Barges and cruise ships.

Let's drop them off on Pelosi lawn with tents.

The hordes are now pouring across the border daily in an unchecked wave. This is the equivalent of putting a finger in the dike.

You are completely missing the point as usual. People living in the Northeast can bitch and moan on social media about Border Patrol and the border crisis but then go about their sweet little lives not having to deal with the consequences at home. This move by Abbott whether voluntary or involuntary busing (who gives a shite?) forces those up North to deal with this crisis first-hand. Hopefully it will be a wake up call to some who would rather bury their head in the sand than face the untenable reality of our border situation.

Guessing they're given a choice of DC or back to home country, they'll choose DC. Big fan of this idea.

Plus, D.C. is managed by the federal government, they created this mess, now deal with more of it.

Once they get about five or so in Downtown Bethesda the illegal border dumping will stop.

Maybe on the returns they can pull a few Ford Rangers to the border.

DC has ignored fixing our immigration laws for years and they need to fix it.

This is a symbolic gesture, but I wouldn’t expect it to get any traction for two reasons. 1) Most politicians don’t live in DC and 2) has anyone been to DC and seen the homeless population there? 50,000 immigrants on the street would only blend in.

Pelosi owns a few I'm sure. Maybe she needs a couple hundred more.
