Brett Buffington used to work for WBRZ. He was once arrested by BRPD for being a douche at the scene of a crime.

Austin closed activities on Town Lake as well as the bike and jogging trails along the lake.

Llano is really getting it though. The river there is flowing at 25,000 cfs. Normally it's 150 cfs. That's insane.

I think that Brett Buffington was here in BR for a little while, maybe on WBRZ.

3:09 p.m.: The Llano River is forecasted to rise later Tuesday evening to 40.1 feet. This would be higher than Tuesday morning's crest at 39.9 feet and place it within 1.4 feet from the record set back in 1935.

I didn't realize it but this sucker is only at 31 ft right now but its expected to jump another 10 feet tonight and the flood stage is only 10 feet.

I didn't know this was happening until an hour ago. I was just getting annoyed by the rain and cold every single day.

I'll note my old rental house here had a creek behind it and a good rain would turn it from a stream you can jump across to a 30 foot rapid within minutes. So not surprised.

Those boats will be totaled when they get crushed by the roof of the boathouses.
