Hope Cooper's in Llano didn't flood - maybe the best bbq I've ever had.
And that poster from Canyon Lake is right.
Here in the Southern portion of the Hill Country it started Labor Day night with 9 inches in a few hours and it's rained 90 percent of the days since then. Kinda sick of it.

Member a few years ago when there was a drought and lake travis was going dry and it was our fault because global warming?

I member folks talking bout the lakes in DFW drying up and shite. Then we had that epic deluge two years ago and now this shite.

Pretty much the answer along with hilly terrain. It's like rain on concrete after the first thin layer of dirt is saturated.

Right. By the winter, me and a buddy went and looked at the difference in water level at Pace Bend Park. The cliffs went from dried up to water's edge. Even the big ones were filled to nearly the top. It was shocking change.
