When some of you on here get recommended to get the CoVid-09 test let me tell you now what awaits you.

First you need to go to primary care doctor, don’t have one, never been sick or just poor, ok you can just spread it everyone and die you don’t count.

Think you can go to Urgent Care, think again, they don’t want anyone with any flu symptoms near them. As a matter of fact, since are possibly positive no one wants you to be within 1000 feet of them.

So those 60% of you with primary care doctor that now have a prescription to get tested the fun really starts. Once you or your doctor discovered the 3 or 4 clinics on your area (if you live in big city) that can do the test you discover that their lab techs etc have internet too and no one wants to actually do the test and they don’t want the possible patient near the building. Don’t one if you Mfers talk about overreaction and pussies on here, as the medical profession is apparently full of them too.

So we are going to the tent drive by testing centers, but this being the Mobile in the South we don’t have any up yet.

Anyone on here with any government agency etc, please move to help them set up these drive by testing centers, tents, traffic control, national guard. That’s the only way any test are getting done

Why do you need to be tested?

CDC says otherwise healthy youngish people with mild symptoms dont need to be tested.

Just stay home. Ya know, like you do when you have any other illness

What leads you to believe that you need to be tested?

Kind of ironic that in order to (purportedly) keep our healthcare system from being overwhelmed we've sufficiently caused every hypochondriac and nervous nelly to freak the frick out and seek testing for a headache that COULD be the coronavirus

Pelosi just said everyone needs to be tested,so they have an idea of how widespread it is.

probably because fricking morons that cough 1 time are running to go get tested and taking spots from those that potentially really need it, in order to be hospitalized in a secluded ICU

Certainly the person to trust is Pelosi and not the CDC

Agree, just answering your question.
It probably would be a good idea to know the full extent, but IMO not worth the cost nor worth the risk of needless further spreading and subjecting more medical personnel to the situation

I just can’t understand why we don’t have unlimited resources to test for a virus that just originated and has infected dozens of people in Louisiana alone!!!

We've tested 14,000 people and we have 1,500 cases. Out of this whole panic only 10% of people bad enough to get tested have the virus.

If she is saying that, we now know it doesn’t need to be tested for in otherwise healthy individuals.

Unless you’re elderly, stay fricking home and stop potentially spreading it just to get “tested”

Yesterday the CDC was a complete clusterfrick. Today they're the subject matter experts. I'm trying to keep up with the OT conventional wisdom.

Isn't that a violation of the Hippocratic oath?

Not everyone can stay home for a week (or 2) easily and would prefer not to if they don’t have the virus. This is why everyone exhibiting symptoms should be able to be tested if they want.
