Does that look like a man that gives a frick whether he’s cancelled or not?

Yes. Bradshaw desperately wants to stay relevant.

Or just not an a-hole. It is so strange how posters feel it is cool to be an a-hole.

As others have said, I dont think he should be cancelled (and he is not) but he lacked class in the moment.

I cringed when he said it, like I was embarrassed for him for saying it because it’s not something I would have said but if Andy Reid isn’t offended by it, then no one else should be. What Terry said affected no one else but Andy Reid and the outrage is ridiculous.

Exactly, cringed as well, not sure why people here are riled up that I took this position. As with everything, lonely place in the middle of insanity, he said something he really shouldnt in the moment and should be more aware, but not a huge deal. End thread.

What makes you say this? I don’t see ANY desperation whatsoever..Looks like he really doesn’t give a crap to me & that’s what I like about Terry.
*if he had played for LSU, you’d have a miniature Bradshaw statue on your mantle.

Reid and Bradshaw are friends you’ve never joked around with your friends like that? I can promise you Reid doesn’t give a crap and neither should anyone else

So a few people on Twitter bitch then a “journalist” uses said bitching as a reason to write their “story.” This is passing for news more and more.

People complaining on Twitter does not equal being cancelled.

Social media comments sections have overweighted the voice of the vocal minority in our society. It’s ridiculous. We need to stop giving weight to a few commenters on Twitter

Sounds like two friends conversing! What's the problem?

Pro football players, especially former players, are famous for the BS that flies back & forth between each other. It's how they talk, especially with friends or players they know. They are all big boys & I can almost promise you one teasing another about being fat is far far down the scale when it comes to friendly fire "insults". Good Lord. Hurt feelings? Between pro football players? Terry has never shied from his weight, going shirtless in at least 2 movies in several scenes. Safe to assume you have your own personal "safe place"?

NFL fans were not impressed

I would bet every cent I've ever earned that this isn't the case. 1% of the viewing population for the super bowl does not represent all "NFL Fans."

This is all part of the same problem. As soon as a few people got up in arms about how they identify themselves, we all started getting painted with the same broad brush.

One fringe idea for any collective group gets a loud enough mouthpiece, and that idea is believed to be present for all members of the collective group. That idea then gets people angry across the board, from the majority of that group who don't believe it, to those unaffiliated who think everyone in the group believes it.

It's a pretty simple formula for all the news agencies. Scour twitter for the hottest take that has significant support, blast out articles saying "look what EVERYONE believes," watch the clicks (aka AD Money) roll in.

Almost wonder if this may be an inside joke between the two, just odd that he'd say that on live tv.

That was my thought, too. If that wackjob doesn't have a TV camera to mug in front of, he'll probably just wither away.

Pimping out your family on a reality show reeks of desperation. And I like Terry a lot, he's a great character and if he's not the best athlete to ever come out of Louisiana he's in the top two or three. But he's either trying to stay relevant or he's listening to some bad advice.

Clearly anyone insulted by this exchange has never heard the Jeff Foxworthy bit about this exact subject.
