like saudi arabia where women have no rights at all and you cant even sip alcohol, good lord what is this the stone age? Its sad we even do business with those guys, but hey they have oil.
In all seriousness in the next 20 years we probably as a race can go to mars. Hopefully begin to develop a mars colony that will be a reset for the human race. Most of us are getting pulled ever deeper into the abyss that is religious based extremism and anti-intellectualism back on earth. The brightest, most educated, most capable, and thus the least ignorant and religious of us will hopefully be sent to mars to start over. Im 35 and thats my utter wet dream for society in say 50 years. Leave all the ignorant,religious,welfare dependent back here and go start the frick over on mars.
In all seriousness in the next 20 years we probably as a race can go to mars. Hopefully begin to develop a mars colony that will be a reset for the human race. Christianity and Islam are almost identical in their original texts. The Old Testament is actually the most violent of all texts.
The difference is that Christianity has had much more exposure to secular morality than M.E. Islam.
If not for that, we would still be owning slaves and torturing people in the town square for imaginary crimes like witchcraft.

Expert reported last night that it wasn't bulletproof. Regular safety glass, and it's normal for bullets shot from a lower ground level to bounce off of the glass because of the angle that most windshields are installed. Said you almost have to be shooting completely level at window for it to pierce and go through.
I have no idea if that's scientific, but I haven't seen anywhere where they said truck had bullet proof windows.

It is complicated but there are serious people working hard with potential solutions.
One of the first steps is working respectfully with the people who presently refuse to acknowledge the roots of the belief system. Liberal apologists and neocons have, IMO, both been exposed as naive to the point of uselessness to date.
A more unified social set of beliefs actually would help IMO. Standing up for values of of life and liberty (common values of mill liberals and conservatives) would be a decent first step.

There is one Twitter link in this thread. It's actually horrible. And I really don't feel sympathy for Muslims that get profiled because of this shite.
I'm way past that now and it's kind of hard to not to feel that way.
