Honest question here.. if you are a Christian, what exactly do you pray for the victims in this situation? That Yahweh delivers them to whatever Jews believe for the afterlife? That they find salvation in heaven with Jesus? I sometimes wonder about this when folks who don’t believe in our Lord suffer harm and need prayer. What do you pray?
I you believe your prayers need to be that specific, I think you’ve lost the forest for the trees, mate

I probably spend more time in prayer for those that are not believers, than those that are. You are praying for God to protect the families and help them heal. God works in mysterious ways for all, not just his followers.

These folks are indoctrinated with hate and encouraged by others also indoctrinated. Certainly many of these indoctrinaters have been outed but how much damage did they do first?

Below is a compiled list of documented cases from 2023–2025 where educators (professors, teachers, or similar roles) have been accused of sharing antisemitic propaganda, tropes, or related materials with students or the public. These examples are drawn from reputable news sources, investigations, and reports. I've focused on specific incidents involving direct sharing in classrooms, lectures, social media targeted at educational audiences, or public statements influencing students. Each includes the educator's name, role/institution, a brief description of the incident, and the outcome where known. This is not exhaustive but represents a broad sample based on available data
Joseph Massad
Professor of Modern Arab Politics, Columbia University
In an essay and class discussions shortly after the October 7, 2023, Hamas attack, called the attack "awesome" and a "stunning victory," compared Hamas fighters to the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising, and described Israel as a "racist state."
Calls for dismissal; no reported firing.
Mohamed Abdou
Visiting Scholar (Spring 2024), Columbia University
Posted on social media days after October 7, 2023: "Yes, I’m with Hamas and Hezbollah and Islamic Jihad," shared with students in his "Decolonial-Queerness & Abolition" class.
Public backlash; university review.
Katherine Franke
Law Professor, Columbia University
In an interview referenced in class contexts, stated that Israeli students who served in the IDF are "dangerous" and should not be on campus, amid discussions of harassment by ex-IDF students.
Clarified statement but faced congressional scrutiny.
Hamid Dabashi
Professor of Iranian Studies, Columbia University
Posted on social media (circulated among students): "Every dirty treacherous ugly... happening... the ugly name ‘Israel’ will pop up," and called Zionists "hyenas."
Student group called for rebuke; ongoing criticism.
Kayum Ahmed
Law Lecturer, Columbia University School of Public Health
In pre-October 2023 lectures, labeled Israel a "colonial settler state" that "oppressed indigenous populations" and displaced Palestinians, shared as course material.
Video evidence led to complaints.
Henry Bens
Social Studies Teacher, Mt. Eden High School (Hayward, CA)
Taught Elie Wiesel's Night alongside The Hidden Tyranny (Holocaust-denier text); said Hitler "was not a bad person" and offered excuses for his actions, telling students "only one side of the story" is known.
Ousted from school district in 2023 after student reports.
Rebecca Lopez
Assistant Professor, University of Arizona
In recorded discussions shared with students, described Hamas as an "anti-Zionist group" rather than antisemitic, downplaying its attacks.
Suspended in November 2023.
Rebecca Zapien
Community Liaison/Educator, University of Arizona
In recordings, compared Hamas to the Black Panther Party as a "resistance group," promoting it positively to students.
Suspended in November 2023.
Yasmeen Hanoosh
Professor of Arabic Language and Literature, Portland State University
In a June 2025 protest video circulated online and referenced in class contexts: "I am Hamas. We are all Hamas," expressing support for the group.
Placed on paid administrative leave; filed lawsuit claiming retaliation.
Rupa Marya
Associate Professor of Medicine, UCSF Medical School
Posted on social media (January–September 2024) targeting Jewish/Israeli colleagues and students: Called Zionism a "structural impediment to health equity," referenced "Zionist doctors" as threats, and questioned an Israeli student's IDF service.
Suspended then fired in May 2025.
Samia Rahman
Academic Manager (Pre-College Programs), Tulane University
In a 2025 infectious disease course syllabus, included a Harvard article on Gaza polio outbreak (seen as blaming Israel); followed with TikTok videos critiquing objections as discriminatory.

Angela Wolf
English Department Head/Union Rep, Takoma Park Middle School (Montgomery County, MD)
Posted on social media (shared with educator networks): List of Jewish locals as "gluttons and thieves"; anti-Israel rants calling the conflict a "slaughter"; praised refusing transport to pro-Israel rallies as anti-"genocide" solidarity.
Suspended in December 2023.
Siriana Abboud
Pre-K Teacher, NYC Department of Education
Shared anti-Israel lesson plans for 4-year-olds on "land theft, displacement, and ethnic cleansing"; recommended P is for Palestine (glorifying "intifada"); posted antisemitic "different noses by ethnicity" drawing implying stereotypes.
Resigned in February 2024 after complaints.
Rana Baker
Lecturer, King's College London
Assigned Hamas propaganda materials in seminars; remarked on "Zionist-Nazi collaboration" and "deployment of the Holocaust as justification for an exclusive Jewish state."
University dismissed complaints in December 2024; protests for dismissal in February 2025.
Alka Kurian
Professor, University of Washington Bothell
In February 2025 class, mandated attendance at a lecture on "genocide and starvation in Gaza," requiring a paper on it for grades; not on original syllabus, seen as one-sided propaganda.
Under investigation; student complaints.
Samer Alatout
Professor, University of Wisconsin-Madison
In August 2025 social media post (pre-classes): "frick you, yes you" toward Jews; implied Hamas/Palestinians "will return"; prior support for Hamas at protests.
University Title VI investigation ongoing; arrested at 2024 protest.
Additional NotesBroader Patterns: Reports like Canary Mission's "Professors Teaching Hate" (January 2024) document 58 U.S. professors post-October 7, 2023, for similar actions (e.g., supporting Hamas, using tropes like Jewish control). The ADL's "Faculty Under Fire" (September 2025) highlights over 100 cases of faculty bias emboldening student antisemitism.
adl.org
K-12 incidents often involve social media spillover into classrooms, with unions like Massachusetts Teachers Association sharing pro-Hamas resources in 2024.
@ACTBrigitte
Context: Many cases surged after October 7, 2023, blending anti-Israel rhetoric with classic antisemitic tropes (e.g., blood libel, dual loyalty). Outcomes vary by institution, with federal Title VI probes at schools like UW-Madison and U Arizona.

Wait...I thought guns were illegal in Australia and the citizenry had been disarmed.

Same here. I did add in my prayer that i hope Australia grows a set of nuts.
They like to act hard in the “bush” on tv but when it’s nut cutting time they curl up like a bitch.

The guy on the overpass needed to have some shots coming his way. It looks like the hero did pick up the rifle/shotgun and engaged him but was hit in the arm. He then tried to run off but was dropped. Although it might have been the rock throwing guy, not the original hero.

FYI, in Australia, self-defense is not an acceptable reason for owning a firearm.

I am sure it was just a bunch of peace loving Muslims practicing their beliefs as taught in the Koran. ie "Kill the infidels:" "Convert or die" It is politically incorrect to tell the truth about this "peace" loving bunch of religious zealots. You can be sure of their love of God by how well they treat women in their society.

Bc he probably would have then been charged with murder
Australia is probably the most cucked(I hate using that term because it’s so overused) country on the planet but I don’t think even they would charge that guy with murder in this situation.

Wow, first mass shooting like this in Australia since 1996. That’s wild.

Expect more of this to happen in the West. More coordinated attacks instead of lone wolf type events. Even in America. Probably most especially in America

Here's a drone view of the end of the 2nd terrorist. Sadly, there's a dead couple on the walkway.

Agree every cop should be armed, but they could have been "beach police" types. Typically go around in shorts with a uniform shirt, mostly ticketing people for having glass bottles on the beach and intoxication. You see these in the US sometimes. Who knows. But if they were responding to a call for an active shooter, they should have demanded to be armed.

Pray for these people…and fight to KEEP 2nd Amendment here!

The person videoing the first disarming could have easily stopped the shooting if he had his own rifle before the brave citizen had to risk his own life.
One person returning fire, even if ineffectively, puts the shooters defensive and switches them from murder mode to fight mode. One person returning just enough fire for the bad guys to realize they are on a 2 way range would save countless lives.
Man this pisses me off.
