Yeah the are swarming in Old Metry too. But I’ve seen them much worse. Man I hate those little bastards.

I saw a few tonight here in Thibodaux. We had an early swarm this year. Seems like they came out early March at one point. Crazy weather this year had them messed up.

Old Metry. Got home last night just as the sun was really going down, somewhere around 19:30 hours. Saw them in my head lights, looked up and saw the invasion forces rallying around the street lights overhead.

My troops and I rushed into HQ and shut down all lights and pulled the curtains closed. We entered into defensive operations under strict night discipline for about two hours. I reconned the Foward Edge of Battle Area and noticed no trace of the enemy left and we resumed operations under normal conditions. Trust me, we will be on the offensive this weekend.

My 6 year old daughter decided to open the front door last night. She calls them tinker bells and thought she would let them all come inside where it’s safe. Probably had 50 flying inside.

Haven’t seen any with wings

They lose their wings shortly after landing in a spot they like. If they don't have wings then your house is the spot they like. Call an exterminator ASAP.

How fricked am I?

If it’s just swarmers nothing to worry about. They need water to survive. Walk around the outside of your house and look for dirt tubes coming up from the ground into your house. If you find the mud tubes then you are fricked.

Also if you don’t have a termite protection plan from one of the pest companies you are a fricking idiot. That’s for anyone in general.
