Termite swarming for anyone else?

Got home and they are flying around all in the neighborhood.

Haven't seen any in N.O. yet, and they do swarm yearly in my neighborhood of Mid-City.

Yeah, hadn't seen any until I got home today. Now they are EVERYWHERE!

Def termites. Little black ones, I think they're formosan.

It's still a little early generally. They are usually swarming in late May to early June. They aren't wild about temps below 60 at night

Maybe a week early. By 4/30 last year swarms were in full swing with OT Watchman reports of enemy action from all over the BR area and some in NO.

LSU website says as early as April. But it was like the flip of a switch overnight.

Maybe the high river has them out early. Also we have been warm and wet all spring and winter except for that snow storm.
