Given the video evidence, assuming the defense can't make a strong argument that it is not an accurate portrayal of events, it is possible they would not need the children's testimony at least anything about the acts performed on them because they were not aware. The prosecution might need testimony about what led up to it and the aftermath. The children could be pretty much be shielded from the details if that is what the parents want and the parents pretty much control how their children are used in this type of case assuming like in this case the parents were not involved.

He’d be dead. Would not make it to trial. I’d take one for the team. Not even a question.
