No that was Jody. Your “dad” is not your biological father

You need to keep at it. Pull a Henry VIII if necessary.

My grandfather was stationed on the Aleutian Islands during WWII. While on his death bed he started recalling stories about his time there.

He said one day he was on foot patrol along the beach and started shooting at what he thought was a Japanese sub. It turned out to be a whale.

I'm 46, so I've got time.

I’d keep trying.

When you’re gone, all that matters is that your name lives on.

They’re the fruit of your loins.

Her daughter, my grandmother, was born in the Royal Palace..maybe? Their family was relocated to America during the Nazi occupation of Norway.

Same here except my grandma had more siblings. It took her decades to find all of her brothers and sisters after they were all split up and put into the foster system.

Same grandparents had a convenience store that got wiped out by the train derailment in, maybe Watson (?) in the 1980’s.

An OT post led me to search my hometown for sex offenders. I have a cousin that diddled his 12 year old stepdaughter.

My mom defends him.

I’m the first person in my immediate family to go to college and get out of that crap. Although one of my brothers went back later in life and did alright.

Education is key, people.

My mom was a bit of an alcoholic and tried to give me “the talk” because she saw me watching the opening scene to Tombstone where that new bride was going to get raped, and it was in the cramped living quarters of our gooseneck in the middle of the woods on a weekend trail ride where I couldn’t get away. It was awkward.
