That’s because you’re a raging douchebag. Least surprising thing I’ve heard all week.

My wife keeps planning vacations. Leave soon for Europe. Then Belize in November.
I've got stuff to do around here.
It doesn't really piss me off but my wife has been doing it for years....and then complains because the house needs painting or something. We are going to Paris in January, Hawaii in April and London in August or September next year....not sure but were are going. We will also be going on a family vacation in May or so of next year for a week. And Gatlinburg for Thanksgiving. I am in the beginning stages of building a house out of pocket and for the most part by myself....I have tried to explain that retirement is just around the corner but these things have to be done now. Even simple stuff like yard work has to be worked around trips to Atlanta and Savannah and Charleston. Not only is it time consuming its damned expensive. The more I think about it the more it pisses me off!

True story ...
I know a guy who lives in Metairie, not far from the dump and who owns a truck. He chopped up a 24 cuft refrigerator with a Sawzall into garbage can sized pieces rather than drive it to David Dr.
I replaced the tires on a utility trailer last week. The dealer wanted $8 a piece to dispose of the old ones. I used a sawzall and cut them in 4 pieces and put a piece in the bottom of the can 3 days now and put garbage on top of them LOL. Saved that damned $32 LOL....it will be 8 weeks total before the last quarter tire is gone but it didn't cost no $32!

Doctors. I went to my oncologist last month for a follow up and told them I had a balance on my account. I told them, not them telling me. The lady told me she did not know anything about it. I told her I checked by EOB and I owed them $200 and wanted to pay it. Lady told me she could not take the money....that they did not take any money for services. Not even co-pays. I didn't get into it with her and asked the Doctor about it. He says "we are not set up to accept payment". To which I said "that might be why y'all have so many unpaid bills". He thought I was joking and chuckled...saying "you may be right". As I was leaving he said "I thought about it and you're right...this is our billing company they should be able to help you" and handed me a business card. It was for a collections agency. Said it right on the card. I asked him why they used a collections agency and he said it was a billing company...when I pointed out it was called consolidated collections inc.he said "oh, they also do collections". WTF???
So anyway I call the company. First off they assumed I was someone who had not paid their bill, which I am of course because there is no way to pay it. Very nasty people. When they ask for an account number I tell them to tell me, they were the one with the account, I did not even know they existed until the doctor told me. Asked for my SS# and birthdate. No record of the outstanding bill, told me I should contact the provider or my insurance company. Knowing what the provider had just told me I called the insurance company. They gave me the same name and number for the collection agency. I called them back, same nasty attitude but a different person. She found the account and sure enough, I owed them $200. When I tried to pay it she told me she could not take payment, the account had been sold to another collections agency! As it turns out the provider pays them to collect ALL bills delinquent or not. They in turn sell about half of them to other similar companies, delinquent or not. Keep in mind none of them, the provider nor either collection agency had tried to get paid...I was trying to pay them, they had made NO effort. I finally got the initial agency to take the payment over the phone. I fully expect to hear from the third agency sometime soon and they will never believe, even when presented with a receipt and a record of when it was paid, that it was actually paid. Damndest system I ever saw. If Walmart acted that way they'd be out of business in a week or so.....

This is over "pissing you off" territory.
You should report this to someone. Perhaps your state medical board or a consumer agency. This is larger than an inconvenience.

Live in a nice neighborhood where the HOA takes care of the grass and bushes. They actually do a great job. The St Augustine grass here is very beautiful.
New neighbor has a lot of visitors and park in the street. It seems that every fricker that parks in the street, puts their tires 8" on the grass instead of just on the pavement in front of the houses. What fricking animal does that?
Get the frick off the grass.

Jeez, where do you live? Put something like that out at about 3pm the day before garbage day. It’ll get picked up by workers before dark. Always worked for me.

Doctor 2
My Dad went to get a cortisone shot in his knee at a "Pain Management Clinic" which is industry jargon for drug dealer. They pefrorm the "procedure" and tell him if it starts swelling of gets hot to call them. Before he gets home it is doing both. We call them. Voice mail. Please leave a message, we will return your call within 2....yes 2....business days. This is 1 PM Thursday....they were just open 30 minutes earlier, had a waiting room full of people...yet they can't answer the phone. We load him up and take him back up there. Their answer? Take him to the emergency room! So we do, of course. 8 hours later the ER doc tells him "see your provider". When we explain the provider tolds us to come to the ER he says "Oh....give me a few minutes". 2 hours later a nurse comes in and hands him prescription for pain meds. Tylenol with Codeine. Its almost midnight. His knee is the size of a large cantaloupe at this point and he is hurting. We ask them if he needs pain meds and it is nearly midnight and no pharmacy open can they not give him something before he leaves. Nope. Hospital pharmacy is closed. Seriously. No drugs available in the ER. Take him home. He is in serious pain, knee swollen and hot to the touch. Call the provider the next day. Same thing, will call back in 2 days. Take him back. They tell us to take him to the ER. We do. 6 hours later they drain his knee and write another prescription for pain meds. We told him he hadn't gotten the other one filled yet, they don't care a bit, told us to get it and the new one filled LOL. No wonder there is a drug problem in the US. Take him home, go get his pain meds, and its 8 tablets to be taken every 6 hours so 2 days worth...on a Friday. By noon Sunday it is as bad as it was Thursday. Of course the only option on Sunday is the ER so he says frick it, he will live with it. By Monday morning he is delirious....have to call 911 because he can't get out of bed because of the pain. They transport him to the ER, he waits in the waiting room for nearly 6 hours, they take him back and tell him 'make an appointment with your Urologist". For knee pain. I asked them why his Urologist and they said because of his prostate cancer....which he has had twice. I asked if that was related to his knee pain and they say no. Again I ask why the Urologist and they say because he has prostate cancer. As it turns out he told them he HAD HAD prostate cancer when they asked if he had ever had cancer. Thankfully he has gotten better since Monday evening but its only dumb luck, none of the various medical professionals did a damned thing other than one of them causing the problem to begin with. Here is the ultimate kicker....he has been seeing the pain management clinic for 3 years because of pain associated with prostate cancer...hehas never complained of having any back or knee pain but they have been treating both....and have it in his records that back pain is what he was initially referred for. When I pointed out it was prostate cancer they said they couldn't do anything about that. The entire industry is insane....

The guy I work with thinks he is being smart by taking a week to do some basic paperwork while I do monthly checks... this way next month the checks will be easy for him. Dude is a piece of shite and I can't wait for him to hang himself.
