Good for him. He didn't make his decision based on narrow-minded political views.

Like California, Colorado was a natural wonder that was invaded by hipsters and parasites, and is now too infested to ever go back.

If you have an addictive personality, you'll become a pothead.

If you like the out of doors, you can ski. If you like the idea of cross country sking, you will be looked down on and made fun of by the down hill types.

Get ready to hear a lot of NIMBY.

Get ready to pay a lot for nice areas.

If you have children, the dryness will bother them and their mouths will have a 3/4 inch chap zone around their mouths where they can't help licking. It will go away, eventually.

Get ready to worry about the snowpack because if there isn't enough, your water will be rationed.

Can you breathe easily above 5000'? As you get older, that question needs re-asking.

You'll have to relearn how to cook at altitude. You'll be shocked at how long it takes for a crawfish pot to come to a boil.

Cars rust out.

Arvada used to be a really nice place to live.

Colorado used to have mines and workers with common sense.

Californians, with their turrible attitudes, ruined California, then branched out to Oregon, Washington and Colorado. their influx has ruined a lot of the collective attitude.

A lot of the state is desert. Move to a green, sparsely populated area.

can't imagine moving from somewhere so water-centric as Louisiana to somewhere so dry as Colorado. I love visiting the desert and all, I just don't think I could stay in it - or even a place as dry as a mediterranean climate like California or Italy or Greece. If I see dirt, I want to see something try to be growing out of it, I don't care if it's a mold or what, something.

If im reading this correctly, you’re saying you’d rather live in Louisiana over Colorado , California, Italy and Greece?

Brother I love Louisiana but this is wild

The pretty parts are too expensive. The rest of it is flatness as far as the eye can see.

This. You missed the boat homie. Unless you’re a multi millionaire. In order to live where you think you want to will cost big $$$. I mean, you can still live there but it’s gonna be as flat as Louisiana and Texas. Oh and the cool parts are lib as F.

I was really thinking it 10 years ago after some family moved to Durango. But now…. No way for all the reasons you’ve heard and I’ve seen. There’s other states and parts of the country out west still out there but for selfish reasons I’m keeping my mouth shut. Frick y’all…. With love tho.
