Humans are the only mammal that have a hydrostatic penis which gets erect when small capillaries become engorged with blood from arousal. All other mammals have a penis bone called a baculum.

Duckbilled Platypuses have one of the most painful stings on earth. They have barbs in their hind legs that they sting with if threatened.

They also have no nipples to feed their offspring. Milk seeps out of their skin.

Elephants can't jump.

Polar bears have black skin and transparent/hollow fur. The "white" of a polar bear is a reflection of the snow/ice.

The Candiru fish swims into your pee hole and up your dong, then has barbs so it can’t back out.

Remedies have ranged from penile amputation and suprapubic cystostomy to application of a native herb that softens the spines of the candirú, so it can be removed relatively atraumatically. A tight bathing suit can prevent entry of the fish into the human urethra.

Because of how the hair scatters light. You can see their black skin showing through in those photos. When they are on snow pack they appear more white because of the reflection

quote:

Beneath all that thick fur, polar bears have jet black skin. The polar bear’s fur is also translucent, and only appears white because it reflects visible light. World Wildlife Fund

quote:

If you look at a cross-section of a polar bear pelt, you can see that the guard hairs are longer and actually cover the undercoat. Both types of hair are pigment-free and transparent with a mostly hollow, air-filled core. This makes the light scatter as each hair strand reflects the visible light, thus making the polar bear appear white to you and me. Polar Bear International

Horses are very hard to keep alive and a minor tummy ache or sudden pressure change with the weather can cause them to die like a hothouse flower.

The underside of a Humpback whale’s tail, which is called the fluke, is unique to each whale, similar to a human fingerprint. This unique pattern of pigmentation, scars, and shape is called a Fluke Fingerprint.
