I had it done about 25 years ago. Procedure was quick and relatively painless. Only felt a slight “tug” that I was about the same as getting them stepped on by a toddler. Recovery was easy. Ibuprofen/acetaminophen for pain and get 3 bags of peas and rotate them out to keep on the boys. Don’t do too much too soon. I tried doing some light work around the house after 3 days and it set me back a couple more days on recovery. Also, don’t assume it is safe to get back to business unprotected until you have had a sample analyzed to verify that no sperm are present. After that it is game on!

Watched a few YouTube videos and tried self surgery at home. No longer have use of my right leg and if I sit in a chair more than 12 minutes a day my urine turns black and smells like a rotting elephant carcass. It’s been a rough two years.

I had mine many years ago and it wasn't bad at all. I was back to playing racquetball the same week. No side effects either.

Easy procedure, if you and your wife are through having kids it’s your best option.
Couple bags of frozen peas like they tell you and you won’t have either swelling or soreness.
Been 25 years since mine, no issues.
Perks
1) birth control pills in many women suppress their sex drive, that can be a real bonus
2) negotiate it. You are still fertile for a while after, so have it set with your wife how that is approached. You can, and they will if you try.

I didn’t even have any soreness. But OP—be aware that some doctors will send you home with only ibuprofen and tell you to sit on a pack of frozen peas. frick that, if you’re having balls snipped and paying for modern medicine then you want modern medicine.

I believe there to be some truth about the unvaxxed blood and semen being worth more in the future. I just saw an article the other day about how the world population, and the u.s. population has been slowing up big time compared to the rate it would normally grow. People swallowed the bait without a second thought.
