Recovery time? What exactly could you do in the following days? How sore, for how long? Any lingering soreness long after?

Largely easy procedure.
Walked too much too soon w/o jock strap and had uncomfortable swelling.
Wear a jock longer than you think you need.
It’s pretty straight forward.

For the second anesthesia injection, the syringe burst, spewing the meds all over my nether regions and legs. Being loopy already, I exclaimed, “was that your shite or mine?” Doc had already sterilized, so he had to yell and kick the walls to get a nurse to bring him another syringe. After that, things weren’t bad. Recovery was easier than I thought. First 6-8 hours was pretty painful, but nothing much after that.

Didn’t give me enough time to numb up before they cut the first jizz rope. Felt like I got kicked in the gut and almost puked. After the meds kicked in, smooth sailing. Got 5 days of rest. Not too much pain

Nothing to it.
Took a Valium right before and was on cloud nine during the procedure.
Little sore for a day or 2

Had sex either the day of or next day lol.
I had to know it still worked the same, which it does .

Search the threads on here, I went to Dr Vick based on recs I got here. Procedure was easy, initial recovery was about 3 days to get back to moving around, and about a week total to be back to normal. Occasionally had some lingering pain on the incision site but it completely went away after about a month.

The best part about is was the 3 days in bed on pain pills, watching football, and I haven’t worn a condom in 15 years

For about 2-3 years after about once every 2-3 weeks I'd have a sudden pain that would last about 15-20 seconds. Recovery wasn't bad, I was an Ironworker at the time and for the week after I set it up with my boss to take it real easy. I would ice them to and from work and didn't have any problems.
