A police officer got shot while directing school traffic over there like 3 years ago.

They used to have a well known lighting store (Lighting Inc.?) but I think they went out of bidness.
I know what you’re talking about and I think you’re right.
There’s a nice huge house on a big piece of property next to the church. It was a spa the last time it was anything.
Anyone know the story with that place?

That Chinese spot was an all open all night bar called brass monkey about 15-20 years ago. It was the st Charles parish answer to Kenny’s key west and escapades.

It was a very large production field for Texaco at one time.

They got Happy Garden II, which I would assume is only rivaled by Happy Garden 1.

Pair-a-dice or Pair-a-dee?

Well I remember the Texaco gas station was the only game in town until the Valero Birdies station and the McDonalds Station opened up.
Now all 3 are in a war for business.
The old Texaco still gets all the crack heads and meth heads I suppose.

I pass through every time I go to Grand Isle. I've often seen bald eagles flying around there above Hwy. 90.

Birdies station is always like 10-15 cents cheaper and the fried chicken is good there.

Zydeco’s just closed the doors which used to be Tailgators. Seemed like a pretty good location.
How can Spahrs and Franks do so well and that location can’t get it’s shite together?

It’s a great spot to get pulled over at 3am when you’re headed back to Houma from NOLA.

There was always that two story grey restaurant building that went through one owner / name after another. It's like people saw this building and thought "hey, I know 732 other people have tried to make this a successful restaurant and failed, but I think I got the magic touch"
