Recently purchased a 4x4, have driven all kinds of frickin vehicles including a Bradley tank. Water sports all my life including skiing, waterboarding etc but have never owned my own boat. How is it? Some of you baws get a little tight when that launching that thing? How easy is it to get the hang of it behind the wheel?

If it flies, floats or fricks, you're better off renting.

Very easy. Within no time you won't even have to think twice. Also, if you have a newer truck, the rear camera helps hooking up a lot easier.

So you have been skiing and water boarding your entire life but have never driven a boat? Am I getting this right?

I am going out on a limb and say you are an alter. You recently purchased a 4X4 and now want to know what owning a boat is like? I've heard its utopia. You did water sports and waterboarding? Did you spend a few years at Gitmo Bay?

It doesn't have brakes and trolls.

How could you ski and water board and never drive a boat?

I bet OP gets some great advice from this thread.

At most rental marinas they let you get behind the wheel after producing a drivers license and watching a 5-minute safety video, so...

A Bradley is not a tank for what it's worth. Maybe you should start a thread about what it's like to drive a tank.
