It's really nothing new. Here's the Wikipedia link to the real story behind Bob Geldof and his Boomtown Rats hit from 1979 called "I don't Like Mondays".
Girl across the street from elementary school, skipped and took some acid, started shooting the kids across the street. Her response when asked why: "I don't like Mondays".

There is death a few miles from the school that is related to this as well according to local news.

The school is about 20 minutes south of Clemson. Both students were air-lifted to Greenville.

Yeah I'm wondering if the shooter knew the kids. With that reported related death a few miles away, I'm wondering if this guy was perhaps trying to take out his whole family?

Whoever's gun this kid used needs to be held responsible as well. If it was an unreported stolen gun, whoever it belonged to needs to be held responsible also.

I live in SC and I was hearing this as I was pulling out of my kid's elementary school car line. My heart dropped even though my kid was in the backseat. :(

I completely agree.. Sort of like the Sandy Hook situation, I blame the mother just as much as I blame her son. She had all those weapons in her home knowing her son had a mental illness.
