An 18-year-old from Norway started receiving death threats when she revealed she cooked and ate her pet horse after it had been put down.

She prepared some of the meat with chilli and mango and said her ‘chef’s heart said [she] had to’

It was some of the best meat we have eaten.

The equestrian stood her ground in spite of the threats, arguing ‘it’s not better for the meat to be buried and eaten by the worms.’ She said horse meat is a delicacy and pointed out Drifting Speed had to be put down anyway.

Good for her. It's the only way to deal with these idiots.

Logically it makes sense... but it is still creepy as hell. What if we started eating our dogs when they died?

Kids today send death threats for anything. It's almost like saying "hello" these days.

It's a little weird to me, but it was her horse, so c'est la vie.

Seems sort of gross, but I don't get why anyone would think she should be killed for it.

I would imagine horse to be tough and stringy. Baws on the FDB would recommend a sous vide bath for 6-7 months
