The narrative has already started. “Vaccines are only 90% effective”. They will use that excuse and the yearly vaccines like we have for the flu to make these changes permanent

I’d be ok with this.

Eta: I think you meant “Jessica” rather than “Melissa,” since the latter does have lyrics.

Both excellent ABB songs though

Imagine sitting in a meeting with elected officials and medical people and someone suggests this. I’d immediately feel like I was that South Park episode when Randy had the idea to recycle homeless people are tires.

Just announced, it is pretty much the same as the state, except:

Indoor gatherings are limited to 75 people instead of 150

and sports venues I think are at 15%.

So is Nola going to start having some outdoor music for real now?

I think the damn positivity rate has been around 1% in Nola. This is all so damn stupid.

Statements like this are no worse than Corona Bros who want to keep everything shut down. The extreme sides to this thing (like with most everything) are incredibly annoying. Especially since most people are either trolling or honestly don't believe their own statements.

You mean indoor? There has been live music outside in my hood the last two weeks.

Nah, I meant some decent bands outdoors at City Park, along the river front, or other places.
Yes we've had a few lame bands play in someone's driveway the last few months. I'm ready for some bigger stuff with the nice weather we are having.

I happened to ask someone, who is doing covid research, about this yesterday.

So far the vaccines first administered a year ago are still holding up providing enough protection. At least that is what the data is showing. Not sure how much it is still protecting though.
