Hand to God, I thought he died 20 years ago

RIP in peace Ted, he was a wild man in his yachting days

But it was his audacious vision to deliver news from around the world in real time, at all hours, that really made him famous — once his idea finally took off.

Love him or hate him, I thank him tremendously for financing film projects like Gettysburg, Rough Riders, and Andersonville. He also turned the Braves into a competitor when he owned the team.
His politics weren't the greatest but he positively impacted sports and the arts.

I'm surprised someone who was so active in the public eye seemed to disappear completely after he lost control of his TV companies.

While I don’t agree with a lot of his beliefs, that man lived an extraordinary life.
Always thankful for him for being a huge conservationist.
He owns over 2 million acres of land in the US, mostly in the Great Plains, and foothills of the Rockies with over 50k bison.
He’s played a major role in rewilding lots of areas out west.

I know this will devolve into a rightful bashing of Hanoi Jane, but I ask what differentiates her from virtually all current Hollywood actors and their political opinions?

Yep and without his money pro wrestling may have died on the vine.

Along with Vince Sr. and Vince Jr. he was one of the most important figures in why wrestling is as big and global and popular as it is today
