Does anyone own a pair of the Tecovas Cartwright? How do fit and look when broken in?

I do, and I love them. I keep them polished so the leather doesn't get too warn, but they are not super shiny. I wear them all of the time, dressy or casual settings. I will never buy another brand of boot again.

Marketing push recently working I see?!? Ha
I looked at them, but Lucchese is to familiar for me to spend money on something new atp. Will take to long to break them in, and be returnable if not good.
They look solid, and some decent options though.

I have the lizard boots from them and they are awesome. Always receive compliments. They are super comfortable and well made. They fit me perfect but I've seen enough reviews on how good their returns are that I would have no qualms on getting a pair. They will also send you a coozie so that's a bonus.

I have a pair of Tecovas and love them. They're the ostrich roper boot, not sure what they're called but they're great

Love my full quills. Getting ready to order the lizards. Glad to hear that they are just as nice.

Have a pair of the Cartwrights. Never going back to another boot brand.

My Nolan Lizards were delivered yesterday. Wore them to dinner last night and am wearing them now. Fit me perfect and they're very sharp looking. I'm impressed. Have only ever owned Luchesse before, and so far these are comparable.

Never had a pair of boots in my life, but damn those lizards are nice

I have the cartwrights also. I have owned Lucchese in the past and these are awfully close, and are actually more comfortable

Will someone post some photos of the lizards after they get some wear?
Smoother/calfskin ropers always end up looking sloppy for me after a while (including Lucchese classics) but I'm wondering if the lizard might hold up better due to the pattern/texture.

Fantastic quality for the money. Very nice pair of boots. I wear mine often.

Just got a pair, they've been fantastic and the price was great...no idea about how they hold up long term.

Anyone have any issues with the wear on the rubber heal? Mine seem to be wearing out faster than heals should.
