Just depends on what you want for fit and styling. I wear Dan Post and love them. Tecovas are good boots and so are Lucchese.

You do know they can be repaired, right?

Yes. Which is where I say that I repair my Luccheses. But I inevitably throw away my other brands. Because side by side they're not worth rebuilding. But the Luccheses are.

I have a pair of the ostrich full quills. They’re very good looking boots but I really only wear them to church and other semi-dressy events. I don’t find them to be very comfortable, but they’re not terrible. I don’t recommend wearing them for 8+ hours

My son wears Tecovas and loves them.

I am all Anderson Bean…..feel like tennis shoes.

Luchesse are beautiful but hurt.

I've got Lucchese and love them, but also have a pair of the Tecova Goats that fit and feel really greate. I just recently got another pair of Tecova that have the Vibram sole for use here in KC during the winter, so far they are good too.

get the socks if you don’t have them already. Mine get stuck when I wear regular sock.

I’m a Tony Llama man myself and never owned the other ones. My steel toe Tony Llamas are the most comfortable boot I own. My gitty up and go out Tony Llamas aren’t very comfy on the feet.

Facebook city slicker boots. Perfect boots for metro sexuals that desire to feel more manly without being manly.

I agree, square toes are for city folk who think boots will make them look western
