Good enough, or spend the extra cash on Lucchese? What say OT gentlemen?

Anything less that Lucchese is trashy.

Mine are comfortable but they are difficult to pull off. Even after breaking them in, it’s still a chore to get my boots off. It may just be my specific boot, not sure it applies to all their boots. I got that pair as a gift so never tried on any others.

Honestly they are pretty decent. Have gotten a lot better since they started.

Lucchese Mexican made(cheaper than lucchese American made)>>>Tecovas in my experience
They are pricier than the tecovas, but not as expensive as the top of the line American made lucchese.

I love them. Have 4 pairs. Wear them all the time. Keep them oiled and waxed and they do fine.

Get edge dressing too. When the sides start getting scuffed, a little of that makes them look brand new.

My Justin’s and Double H’s are just fine. I do have a pair of Tecovas, but I prefer the others.

Lucchese

Not even in the same league.

I've had Dan Post, Tecova, Tony Llama, Justin's, etc.

After they wear out I throw them all away.

My Luccheses I take back and have them rebuilt until they can't go anymore. I'll never buy another production boot.

I may treat myself to a fancy hand made pair of something exotic one day. But for every day wear you can't beat Lucchese

I wear my Lucchese ostrich quite a bit, but will say they get uncomfortable if standing for a long time. The most comfortable ones I have right now, believe it or not... are some $100 fake alligator boots from Alfa Western Wear. They're soft leather, and I can wear em all day no problem.

Literally took a chance after seeing an ad on Facebook. Don't regret it. Will buy another pair after these.

They are awesome. I have a pair that’s about 7-8 years old, have been resoled twice now and are perfectly broken in.

I have both and will say the Lucchesse is a bit more comfortable but not by much. The Tecovas are nice.

No idea, fortunately I've reached the point in life that I don't even have to wear pants.

I own three pair. Calfskin, Ostrich, and a goat roper.

All comfortable and well made for decent price point. One day I might splurge on a lucchese, but I feel like it's the male version buying a Louis vitton purse just to say you have one.
